i need help with renovating our front facade
Comments (15)hi Adrian and Erin, now that looks flash! and it is amazing the difference the small things make! we will certainly look at this and Erin, tks so much for the photo. Do you think the new square posts holding up the veranda should be painted the same colour as the windows ( we think we will restore the windows to the existing white) or made a feature, ie maybe dressed timber or another colour? Our landscape plan includes a pergola ( maybe dressed timber or painted white) leading up to the front porch and a few low retaining walls ( maybe rendered or sandstone?) and maybe the post colour can tie in somewhere? cheers kim...See MoreCalling for advice with what to do with our front facade asap
Comments (10)If time and budget permit I would add horizontal screens (timber stain or charcoal/woodland grey) from the right pillar to the garage (hiding the down pipe) and from the left corner of the house (hiding the bins) Do basic landscaping, two narrow beds either side under the windows, bark mulch and simple plants e.g. Lomandra longifolia (a native low grassy dark green clumping plant) is common but easy spaced every 30 cm Valuers like safe and neutral schemes, so keep with the Woodland grey roof/fascia & Classic cream garage door and repeat this on the upper feature slats for now. Then add a warm complimentary colour for the front door, this is Dulux Rodham Then get a lush new plant for that pot too. If you keep it simple (KISS Principle) for now it will come together for sure :)...See MoreLooking for feedback &/or advice regarding our new 6ixty2 product line
Comments (4)The walnut stain is beautiful. Such a contemporary piece with a great mid-century vibe. I really love the simplicity and elegance of the range! Great job guys! The TV unit is my favourite piece!...See MoreExterior colour and facade update advice
Comments (10)Maybe paint facials white and put some white cladding in front gable so eye drawn to that not windows not a blue tinged white eg not dulux lexicon but warm white to go with cream blinds eg natural or polar white or grand piano 1/4 strength would also go nicely with woodland Grey and jasper - cb basalt also goes nice with woodland Grey maybe go 1/2 strength on walls as it’s a nice neutral black/Greywhixh would detract from purple tinge...See Morejulie herbert
