Start at the top! The roof looks old and needs re spraying, even a pressure wash with a good shiny finish would enhance. I agree with the above advice, but most of all painting the bricks, even though some see this as a sin, I would paint them bright and white. A georgous bright blue Aqua front door would help with some matching pots either side. I would put in a circular driveway with a wide front entrance. Also I suggest some form of down posts across the front, again painted in Aqua and white. If you have room for a carport match the colours again. If this house is dark inside I would install some form of automatic ceiling windows to create light and brightness throughout. Your garden, well I would give those balls some serious trimming and remove anything too obtrusive. You could always create mounds around the circular driveway and replant using an landscaping expert. Ñot only would this totally transform your home, bring it up to date and add several hundred thousands of dollars, it's worth the time effort and expense! hi could be over watering, stick your finger in say 5cms if it is moist dont water, only water when you feel the soil is dry , they like to be moist but not wet, the stems seem to be rotting due to being constantly soggy, you could always take problem leaves and stem for advice from a nursery, but I would definitely hold back on the water, good luck.

I have one too. Cooler weather does seem to affect mine, so try to keep it in a non-draughty position and clear of heating vent as this will dry it out. Mine also droops sadly when thirsty. It may be a matter of how much watering and how frequently. Three times in three weeks doesn't sound like enough, but then I don't know how much water it's getting at each watering. I have to rely on a water meter so I don't over or under water all my indoor plants. Also, check that the pot your lily is in isn't too small for it, which could explain it drying out more quickly than you anticipated. The breadth of the plant should fit the width of the container/pot. If the plant is wider, I'd say it could use a bit larger pot; however, wait until the lily has recovered before repotting as it is stressed ATM. Hope this helps.

I used to have room like that , I had a long wall tiled in darker mosaic tiles with lots of brass and silver in it to reflect the light, and round mirror directly opposite the doorway so there is a reflection of yourself or something else behind you. I had light fitted with motion sensor so as soon as you open the door, light comes on, that was a great hit with visitors. Try to have light and fan in one for obvious reason, you don’t have a window. You don’t have to tile the whole wall, you can tile just the middle section behind the mirror and paint the rest in the same colour . Possibilities are endless.
