jersey you have no photos in your idea books. Search for photos of kitchens here on houzz - save all the kitchen photos you like in one idea book. You can refine the search to include white cabinets bench tops and tiles and see what comes up. I have 10 ideabooks but many here on house have dozens! So start looking now ; ) Having an all white kitchen with white floor tiles could look a little sterile or bland , look at introducing some colour or texture or elements of timber for warmth. See photos i found here on houzz! The first one to me seems very sterile but the second one introduces some timber elements and the third a little bling .

Hi Brenny, This is absolutely the work for an interior designer/decorator. Some designers do larger scale work, however like myself, we happily engage in all scales of work. I would definitely recommend either meeting face to face if they are local or speaking on the phone if they are remote as to get a feel for the designer before committing to them. Normally, after a discussion regarding the scope of works, they will provide you with a quote if they (and more importantly you) are happy to proceed. Even more importantly, professionals know what they are doing, and (should) have a large array of suppliers to work with and good product knowledge. Some (like us at JFI Studios) also provide you with trade discounts from suppliers who offer it, so not only do they help you with what you need to find, but also can sometimes offer it at a cheaper rate which can go a long way. To me it's a case of fix it and get it right or hope and pray that history doesn't repeat and you have to do it again. It's always more expensive to do it right once but cheaper than doing it wrong a multitude of times. You must without fail remove the plasterboard to allow what's behind it to dry out as well. If its timber, as I suspect, and you seal it up with dampness in the timber you will not only be revisiting it too soon but it will be a much larger and more expensive rectification job because you will be replacing timber framing, relining, rewaterproofing and either tiling or sheeting over the wall once more.
