I'd take out those bitty little windows and put in full width glass bi-fold door going out to the new deck over the garage. I'd also put in put in seamless sliding windows to the left (looking at the photo) which would make your view even better as well. Painting the exterior would transform the house as would removing the current garden and replacing with a more attractive design making sure it won't interfere with your view down the track. Nothing you're thinking about is cheap to do so I'm assuming it's your 'forever' house? If not a lick of paint and landscaping will enhance the appearance greatly. As is it kind of looks like a cruise ship to me, if you're quirky you could make that work for you. Darker colour on the ground floor, lighter on top with nautical features. You could keep the little windows/cabins then. I have a vivid imagination haha. Good luck with whatever you decide, show us the finished product.

Is it privacy or weather control you most want? A custom made long blind might work well for the long window, if you want both privacy and heat/cold control. You might also think of external solutions, including plantings that would manage both sun and privacy for the lower levels. Having something that cuts neighbours views and gives you a nice view is always a good solution, and can be an important part both of privacy and weather management. A front courtyard of any sort (built wall, plant wall) also works well - we had one at an earlier house and it worked well. We had, in our just moved into place, a long window beside the front door, which also gets late afternoon sun (hot at present), and I replace the two panes with a stained glass pair of windows and it cuts the sun and increases the privacy, but it's not a cheap solution when you have such a long window.

Thank you for all your help, I was thinking of painting the balcony supports to bring in the white again but my husband said he does not really want to paint them as we will have to paint down the track again and keep it up. They are double gav. Do you mean paint the grey around the balcony base to the white swan? So instead of having dark grey gutters and balcony dark grey have dark grey gutters and white swan around balcony? I could not find Tranquil Retreat on the paint visualiser so I used Gray Frost which looks on the internet a similar colour so I could get the idea what it may look like. Any thoughts on below colours? It is funny a lot of people say the Tranquil retreat does not look pale blue but on the Motel it does look pale blue as can be seen on the above real photos.

In your climate fly-screened, cross ventilation is crucial and louvred windows are a great way to achieve this. Your kitchen windows are spot on, and an additional fixed, glazed window behind the cooktop will not contribute anything as you already have planty of light. For your butler's pantry I would ensure that you increase the size of the louvred window as much as possible to ensure good cross-ventilation with the southern cool side of the house, which will also make it a nicer space to be in.
