Help me choose my bathroom feature tiles
Comments (19)Out of your selection - I would choose the middle one on the bottom row - it gives you a modern look and pattern without being too ghastly - it would fit in with the retro vibe as well. Good luck!...See MoreBathroom vanity help please
Comments (13)A three way bathroom can cost twice as much to tile than one large bathroom, ( sometimes more, depending on your tiles, there is a lot of cutting, it is in fact 3 rooms , each with its own tile bed, if you are doing it yourself, have a tiler give you a quote before , if you are having a professional business renovate in Sydney about $ 30K for all labour only. for a 3 way , this should be about $ 22/ $ 24 K for one large room, with nib wall vanity to toilet, niches to shower and bath, anything cheaper we would have doubt about quality of waterproofing, tiling, sound insulation To make a decision, go and sit on the edge of your bath by yourself and visualize your finished bathroom. one large ( less expensive room, ) or three small rooms. ON paper ideas can be appealing. Buying at the place where trade buys can keep cost lower. e.g Kaldewei Eurowa made in Germany steel bath 2.5 mm thick $ 400 You state it is your master bathroom,to us your master bathroom should have the look, if you go to sell your home this could make/ break the sale. Back to your vanity, the larger vanity will make the room look cluttered. Ken Evers...See MoreHelp!! Is the bath room big enough to have a double vanity of 1.5m
Comments (46)@mlk01, You are right about the message button, I have it on my profile but no one else seems to so that's odd! If you click on my profile for example, you will see on the top line right beside the profile picture: Your house, Ideasbook, Bookmarks, Activities, Messages. In fact I remember that when anyone typed a reply like I'm doing now, you used to be able to click a "private" button, which meant only the person you were typing to saw your comment. Perhaps Houzz can answer these anomalies?? I'm not on Facebook or Twitter, never got into it and have no reason to do so anytime soon ha-ha As for talking privately to someone, you could post your email address here as could oklouise and delete it whilst you are still able to edit, as I've done once in the past. Just not sure how long the edit feature lasts....See MoreBathroom layout options - need help deciding
Comments (7)there isn't enough space for any complex arrangements and a simple neat small bathroom and separate laundry will be so much easier to use if you make sure that all the fixtures are sized to suit ie 90cm wide vanities for bath and ensuite with in wall mirror doored wall cabinets will enhance the feeling of spaciousness and hinged doors are great for extra towel rails and coat hooks as sliding doors would need need thicker walls, restrict attachment of towel rails and interrupt electrical wiring and plumbing and how low is the bulk head??? shower should fit OK as long as the bulk head is no lower than door height and even a bathtub with handheld shower is still better than a shared bathroom laundry open to the back door...best of luck...See More- 6 years ago
