Dated city-fringe apartment needs expert advice

I am wondering if I could have expert advice on maximising the layout of this apartment in relation to the (a) kitchen and (b) bathroom-laundry and (c) space leading into the bathroom from the main bedroom (3.2 x 4.1).

The apartment has one bathroom only. It will be occupied by a busy executive lady who seldom cooks/eats out a lot and entertains. She is looking for a design that is low-maintenance, practical and contemporary.

Bathroom: A suggestion was relocating the washer-dryer combo into the kitchen. This is for the shower to be extended into the existing area of the original basin; the original position of the washing machine would be occupied by cupboards for storage (bathroom supplies, towels, cleaning products, etc).

Kitchen: A suggestion was to have parallel kitchen benches, converted into galley style (no longer U-shape). This is so that the washer-dryer combo can be positioned on the other side of the kitchen sink.

Main Bedroom: A suggestion was to have the area leading into the bathroom made into a walk in closet by removing the cupboard (C) and replacing its door facing the bathroom with a wall. This will extend the space of the wardrobe. The area on the opposite of the current BIR is a shoe cupboard. It is narrow. This could be converted into shelves or a study nook/dressing area with mirror.

Any expert advice will be much appreciated. Thank you.
