To Modernise this without rendering or retiling the roof I would probably recommend to go darker with the trims. My top pick as a colour consultant would be Dulux's Domino for the trim. It will be a little bolder and create a more modern contemporary feel. You can see it pictured below as the trim. Obviously this house has painted their bricks in the shade "teahouse" however it will still look much better on your 1980s "peru" colour bricks! Your floor and other wall colours are great but Red (orange), black and white are very harsh together, the wall cabinets either side of the range hood have been badly installed, they should have been built to the ceiling. My suggestion is because the kitchen is small, I would remove the cabinets either side of the range hood and then run a row of white cabinets across above the sink to the end of the bench top. Paint the walls white or a soft grey, the range then becomes a stand alone feature. You didn't mention what the splash back material is but I would consider a clear mirror splash back along behind the sink and up to the base of the new white cabinets so that you're not just looking at a wall. cheers

It appears that you've used a very cool grey paint, which will contrast with the warm/yellow of the concrete. Another way to deal with this would be to repaint the house with a warm grey with a yellowy tinge!!! Ha ha, I can imagine that going down well. If you decide to professionally stain the concrete (sing a dilute solution so the aggregate is visible) you'll need a purple tinge in the stain to knock back the yellow and neutralise it, but this would take some experimenting, and you may not have that luxury. Wish to repaint buff coloured exterior render with Resene ”Indian Ink”, a very very deep blue … almost black. Some existing vertical timber wood slat cladding, windows anodised aluminium. No front door, rather a gate leads to 2.5m height sliding doors, with 2.5m matching windows, clerestory windows above this long wall of fenestration. Want a pop of colour.
