We are about to have a new kitchen fitted. Shaker style white cupboards. We have a 4 metre long bench on one side with a sink and oven, hotplates and fridge on other side and also a butlers pantry. We have decided on Quantum Quartz Calacutta Oro Six porcelain for 4 metre bench. For a bench top the 12 mm must be used and is only available in a matte finish. All other benches will be Quantum Quartz Concrete Matte. We are using the Quantum Quartz Calacutta Oro Six porcelain for the splash back on the appliance side. This only needs to be 6 mm which is available in either matte or gloss. We were thinking of having this in the gloss finish but a little unsure as to whether it will be okay with the matte finish porcelain on the long bench. Would appreciate views
