Tiles and wall colours
Comments (4)There is no specific regulation but it would not be recommended behind a gas cook top. If there is a concern you could install the timber behind a glass splash back for protection. There is also a really nice tile that looks exactly like timber as another option....See MoreRug - need colour n style
Comments (9)It's a warm camel colour with black/ivory/rust and brown in it. warm browns it seems too. depending on the rest of the place, I would consider a large area rug in any one of these: https://www.houzz.com.au/products/horizon-prvw-vr~13368630 https://www.houzz.com.au/products/rugs-prvw-vr~20619858 https://www.houzz.com.au/products/waterloo-penthouse-prvw-vr~4967630 https://www.houzz.com.au/products/quiver-by-rugs-of-distinction-prvw-vr~20207482 https://www.houzz.com.au/products/brink-and-campman-marroc-prvw-vr~28569971 https://www.houzz.com.au/products/european-sisal-prvw-vr~39197814 https://www.houzz.com.au/products/flower-ash-black-prvw-vr~32826340...See MoreNeed help with living room/dining room colours.
Comments (15)Other colours that work with red are turquoise, apricot, peach, any blues, yellow, even some pinks and greens. (Look to gardens for inspiration, or Old Masters paintings). I'd find patterns with combinations of those, or Vys colours, in a rug, and chairs or cushions....See MoreNeed help chosing kitchen cabinet colours that will go with Jarrah
Comments (6)It depends on the look you're trying to achieve. For a contemporary and streamline look, I would select Dulux natural white for the kitchen cabinetry. Or, if you want the kitchen to stand out, I would suggest to choose a contrasting colour with the walls. A great way is to select your material and colours would be to take your stone and wall colour sample into a paint trade centre or hardware store where you can put them against possible options. Another way, is to have the stone, natural white paint colour in your hands, put them alongside the Jarrah floor and possible options. I'm not familiar with your style, existing furniture or personality so I'm taking a stab in the dark - but because your benchtop material looks like a cool grey, I would suggest to also choose a cool grey (like Dulux Sky Painting) for your cabinetry. Best of luck!...See Morebigreader
