We are finalising the designs and quite like the suggestion of a window splashback. It’s an east-facing window and part of the plan to move the kitchen to the north-east corner of the house was to open it to the backyard and let light in. But I want to prevent people from being able to look in, especially if we go away. While our fence is relatively high, it can be climbed easily enough by teens. We don’t have any spectacular view of anything, though I would probably put some colourful garden outside the window. I wondered - can we make it a one way window? And how much would that be extra? And can you put a blind over a window splashback?
