We purchased a lovely old 1920s house without getting a building inspection knowing it had ‘good bones’ but would definitely need some repair work which we have money allocated towards.
I’m curious to know about peoples experience with rising damp or the likes of. I’ve included some of the photos of a few areas where we have flaking paint and changing wall colour. Although ‘rising’ isn’t exactly the right term as some of it is up near the ceiling with no damage down low.
We will be seeking some advice/quotes from professionals in the near future but I want to be armed with some knowledge to ask the right questions!
Thanks
