How much art is too much?
Comments (4)This is the piece that was there, should I hang it on the other wall? Or let my African lady have all the limelight? I'm not really attached to the second piece (it came with the house) but I can't use it anywhere else in the house because of the colours. What do you think? One art or two??...See MoreFixed shower screens, does too much water spash out or not?
Comments (14)Or if budget allows, why not have both an overhead shower rose from the ceiling and a wall mounted handheld shower head. Hubby prefers overhead shower (and I think most guys do as they don't really care if their hair gets wet) but I don't wash my hair everyday and wanted a wall mounted handheld one, so as we couldn't agree we settled for both with a diverter mixer tap. P.S. the ceiling shower rose we got can be slightly tilted and I think most of them do so you can have it at a bit of an angle. P.P.S. if you can't get both then I would go with a wall mounted handheld shower head as it will be much easier to clean the shower area, can't imagine the practicality of cleaning with an overhead... good luck! :)...See MoreIs there such a thing as too much storage?
Comments (19)Instinctively I voted no, never! But what's that saying, stuff expands to fill space available? I suppose it's a balancing act to have plenty of storage to enable you to be comfortable and organised without encouraging you to acquire more stuff thus needing more storage.......See MoreToo much space either side of fridge?
Comments (31)Refer to your fridge specs before you close anything in. Fair Trading laws in this country have obsoleted warranties. There is now a sliding scale of reasonable expectation on consumer items which means manufacturers will rely on their tech specs more than ever. Check what minimum clearance your fridge officially needs on the sides and above the machine for ventilation before doing anything. Get your lighting working for you. Choose a 'warm white' lamp - not daylight or cool white. Cool whites kill off the warmer hues and makes things appear cold. Change, add or move your lighting to have two small gimbled ceiling lights wash down the face of the joinery instead of one bright light focussed on the fridge. Lighting can make a poor space look great or a great space look poor....See Moredreamer
