Wow, what a great job! I’ve been thinking of switching my bathroom vanity to an d dresser too, but like the idea of soft close drawers. How are you finding it?

hi there thanks for the update. The one flaw in this beautiful bathroom? There's always one thing! Thank you for letting me know about this detail, because I was seriously thinking of doing it this way myself. In terms of your bathroom, I wonder if a very neat bead of silicone on the top only - of the join between the glass and the vanity - could help? This way the underneath is still fee to breathe and not gather gunk. But I guess then you don't get that lovely clean glass feeling from inside the shower.....

What a gorgeous bathroom! Would love to see vanity too. The black feature tile en masse is simply stunning- so dramatic a feature. Yes, I would want to continue the black tile theme to have consistency in the house. I would probably have black tile on the 'bathroom' side and gloss light latte on 'laundry' side, with sand tiles on floor. May I ask what your vanity/basin will be?

Thank you everyone, lots of food for thought. oklouise, would you have the false wall going all the way along the bathroom or just jutting out behind the vanity? We have a few cm to work with as the vanity we are looking at is a little narrower than it could be. jacqueline thank you so much for your photo! Something that goes down a bit lower might help disguise the pipes, ours will be a much smaller room than yours. siriskey, I have attached the plan for this room to see if it is helpful. I am leaning towards choosing a different vanity but as you have said this one is lovely! But it won't be lovely if it doesn't work...!
