mforr - It's funny you should mention that, because I just looked at the map of queens, trying to remember the name of the highway that went thru a friend's neighborhood like that .. and I think they renamed it! There used to be an "Interboro Parkway", and now it's called the "Jackie Robinson Parkway"! Wikipedia says it was renamed in 1997 .. who knew?! The western terminus of the parkway is at Jamaica Avenue in the Brooklyn neighborhood of East New York. The eastern terminus is at the Kew Gardens Interchange in Kew Gardens, Queens, where the Jackie Robinson Parkway meets the Grand Central Parkway and Interstate 678."

I do love a zinc roof, it will age beautifully and goes with everything. From soft country cottage to sea breeze blue hamptons style maybe you'd feel more comfortable . If you like both and are unsure which way you lean, a soft dove grey, or duck egg grey which has soft blue through it looks beautiful with white trims and details, as it mimics the horizon. Look at your neighborhood to make sure yours isn't s sore thumb! :)

Some soft sheers in front of blinds, get ready to hang they are really reasonable....try spotlight. The other place to go is target, you can get really gorgeous ornaments and pillows, ready to hangs. Not too much just a couple of bits to add some personality.
