What. grout color will look best with this tile?

I’m having second thoughts about the grout we’ve chosen and could use some input.
Our initial choice was the color Silverado in the TEC brand Power grout. I’m just not sure about it. The walls will be painted in a yet to be decided color but everything else in the photo is already updated and in place. Any thoughts are appreciated :)

Hi Kristie,

Your kitchen looks really nice.

We would suggest going a little bit darker on the grout since Silverdao is really light gray. If you like the idea of a greater contrast then you can consider mist (939) or light pewter (927).

Please post a photo of the tiles head on to give a better view. What's causing you to doubt your original selection?

Thanks everyone for their comments! Update: husband has 'over-ruled' on this one. Forgot to mention that the vanity top will be Night Sky Ceaserstone (ie black). So he wants the dark grout. We will definitely be using mould inhibitor and ensuring everything is well sealed. It's all his fault if it looks horrible ;) Will post photos once fully complete. (I am now a little scared...)

What kind of lamps would look the best?

I'd look at the style of the lamp first. Damask can go a number of ways - french provincial/ modern contemporary / boho eclectic / luxe glam. So choose which style you want to go with first and them choose colour and style of lamp based on that. I like the lamp stands shown above by Den Interiors for a classic contemporary look.

My subway tiles are hand made Spanish tiles. I don't know what you mean by textured artisan tile?? I have used white grout. Our home is nearly six years old, and the grout is still white. I always rub a cloth over tiles if I have used the cook top. Keep it clean after cooking, and then it can't get dirty.
