Need help with exterior colour
Comments (13)Since you are going to clad the posts , paint each post different colour . That would be the best way to see it at different times of the day and choose the one you like. You can even repaint it again and again until you get it right....See MoreExterior colour to co-ordinate with Woodland Grey
Comments (27)Hi All, Piggybacking on this post for boundary fence colour feedback please. We have Colourbond Gully on the roof and a section of the house is painted to match. The rest of the house exterior is Dulux natural white (50%). Aggregate at front and back is Holcim acacia. Gully is not available as a fence colour so isn't an option. The garden will be started from scratch, so there isn't any current plantings to consider. I personally think Dune is a better tonal match but am worried its too light and wont make the plantings pop like Woodland grey would. The garden will be started from scratch so no outdoor plantings to currently consider. Thanks Ria...See MoreExterior colour choice for extension
Comments (16)Hi again Grace You can get up to a 30 year warranty on Colorbond roofing. It would be easier and cheaper in the long run to just get the existing house done with a new roof while the extension is done. I've heard and seen some horror stories with roof sprayers and roofing companies in general and many are no where to be seen when the paint starts to fade or comes off in a decade or so. Get a quote for the new extension and then ask your builder/roofer you are going to spray your existing home but if he can do a good deal or discount on replacing the existing structure you may consider doing it all, at the end of the day it's a win for you and a win for them. Comments (2)Do you want the shed to blend in or stand out as a feature? I think Woodlsnd Grey is a good option for you and then you wont have too many different colours......See MoreJacoba
