That is a hard one with those tiles. I would have to think if you did a white, it would kind of work with the colour of your tiles. At the end of the day, they do need to be replaces, but as you said, due to budgeting reasons, you cannot, I can pass on this photo of a nice bathroom with those tiles for you though for inspiration... : )

Floor tile size is usually determined by the waste style. If it is a round floor waste it is easier to tile if you use no bigger than 300 x 300, otherwise the tiler has to do a lot of cuts in the tile to get the right 'fall'. I would pick something in a rock/stone look in a mid Grey to charcoal. It would match well if you can get a colour that includes some of the shower base colour included. Accessories handles in a black would draw your eye away from the shower base. If it is at all possible I would replace the shower base. After all of the cost of replacing everything it may look 'old' when everything is replaced.

wow i wonder how samantha's bathroom ended up. I'm readying through today as having picked black taps/ accessories and being recommended by builder to get matt black hinges on shower instead of chrome... now i'm asked about the floor wastes in bathroom floor. am using grey tiles on floor which have a bit of a white fleck through them. debating reverting to chrome hinge on shower and chrome floor wastes but not sure. builder says i can get matt black floor wastes. i guess my concern is in the future... if i wanted to change tapware back to chrome..... a floor waste... not so easy to change... nor a hinge on shower door... but then concerned might look silly and also concerned that the matt black floor waste might age/ scratch etc.... what do you think

I have put images of the outside of the house as that where the dining room is from there we will be bringing the decking out 3 metres which will create an out - indoor eating. this is the most finished room giving you an idea of the colour and house. all blue grey tones. sorry about stuff around but a reno house is hard to find spaces below is kitchen as is looking out to the dining through that open servery but we are taking most of that wall out to make an open space - its very small step down below into the dining through the left door way. below is the now dining. the table is very small and hard to pull chairs in and out of hence the indoor out door considerations. belwo is the outdoor looking in. from those doors we are putting a 3 metre decking i think. we have a lot of yard so its easy to do
