Your floor and other wall colours are great but Red (orange), black and white are very harsh together, the wall cabinets either side of the range hood have been badly installed, they should have been built to the ceiling. My suggestion is because the kitchen is small, I would remove the cabinets either side of the range hood and then run a row of white cabinets across above the sink to the end of the bench top. Paint the walls white or a soft grey, the range then becomes a stand alone feature. You didn't mention what the splash back material is but I would consider a clear mirror splash back along behind the sink and up to the base of the new white cabinets so that you're not just looking at a wall. cheers

Hi Mikala, one downside to using a Dulux consultant is that they are only going to specify their own products. Going with an independent colour designer they will work and select from a range of suppliers. Even with 4000+ colours in the Dulux range, it sometimes just doesn’t have just the right hue. If you are looking at speciality finishes there are other brands that I go to first as they often have better depth of colour and finish. A consultant in addition to the selection of colours and products, will specify placement which is just as important. If you are updating other elements in your home then a colour designer can assist with colour selections (eg a dark blue sofa that you then shop for). An interior designer/decorator can also specify and source (this particular blue sofa with this fabric/size) as part of a fuller ranger of services they offer. I like the colours you’ve suggested. I find neutrals restful. Do you have a sample of your cabinetry? An easy way to get a coordinated look, without whites clashing, is to have the white colour matched at the paint shop to the cabinetry. The colour match will tell you if White Beach is on the right track. I’d consider a more plainer white for the trim ie Natural White as suggested above or Berkshire White. For your splashback - could the budget stretch to the benchtop material? If not a tile colour that picks up one of the benchtop fleck colours will give you a coordinated look. Sounds lovely.
