I agree with the previous reply, red stools would look awesome. You could also put a beautiful red fruit bowl into the picture (full of course) or perhaps an arrangement of flowers in a red jug. Pops of red would be nice. It's hard to tell from the photo exactly what colour scheme you currently have, I'd be inclined to have the wall colour the same as the cupboards and pantry door.

so relieved you don't want to spoil a great looking brick home with more render but is there a view from upstairs? when funds allow extending the deck/verandah across the front of the garage would add extra upstairs outdoor space and modify the look of the garage doors and consider painting garage doors and rendered wall in the darkest cement colour (greenish) grey with white eaves and fascias with black gutters and simply pressure wash the driveway to retain the natural concrete colour and add climbing plants to fall down the side of the retaining wall

It appears that you've used a very cool grey paint, which will contrast with the warm/yellow of the concrete. Another way to deal with this would be to repaint the house with a warm grey with a yellowy tinge!!! Ha ha, I can imagine that going down well. If you decide to professionally stain the concrete (sing a dilute solution so the aggregate is visible) you'll need a purple tinge in the stain to knock back the yellow and neutralise it, but this would take some experimenting, and you may not have that luxury. 11 years ago it would possibly have been trendy to paint it grey , but now that 50% of all buildings are grey ( along with 90% of attitudes haha ) I'd say avoid grey . Are you wanting to paint the roof ? The walls ? I'm with you , in that if you are keeping the wall colour , or going lighter and less yellow , I'd do the windows and the gutters and carport and workshop trims in a charcoal or 'your' monument , and you could possibly even keep the existing roof colour . If you are doing the roof though , the logical scheme would be monument on the roof , and with the existing wall colour ( or lighter ) I'd go red , orange or yellow for the gutters etc -- basically that 150mm around the join haha -- and also the entrance door -- go as bright as your personality allows IMO .
