I do spend a lot more time looking at others creations the actually doing something myself! One of the traps of everything shared online. I do love seeing the creations that didn't go as planned too! So funny. It's great that people have the sense of humour to still share their "failures". At the end of the day, there's more benefit in the process of creating right? At least they had a go.

No floor plan? But before even seeing that. What are the floors made of? Concrete or timber. What are the walls made of? Bricks or stud walls. If you have not purchased the home yet, is this a gathering of information for what it would cost to renovate? It is always better to live in a home and work out where the breezes come from, where the sun rises, where the best views are, before changing rooms around.

Realistically is unfortuantely hard to achieve a full reno + extension for that budget these days unless it's really small scale and you don;t change much of existing, you owner build / self project manage and have some skills in the area / willing to paint etc.....realistically that budget for that scale project would only cover either up to lock-up (if you're lucky) or just the internals scope..... Builder can only give you ballpark rough number like above without any decent plans
