Thanks, great link. Only thing is, I want the real deal, don't like fake stuff!! There are ways of neutralizing lead paints. With special varnish etc. Anyway this is for decoration only and won't be handled once on the wall.

Dark colours or a pattern in black, white, and silver, for example, would really make the pressed tin feature wall pop. There are many ways to interpret these classic architectural design elements. Hi Kate, I have to agree with you, I absolutely hate that mint green so I feel for you that it just doesn't suit your colour scheme irrespective of how much others suggest this green and blue might go together, personally I don't like blue either so I might not be much help there ha-ha I do think the suggestion of placing a mirror over the splashback could be the best option so that you don't run the risk of damaging any part of the kitchen trying to remove it and I think a mirror could look amazing, catch the light and obviously make the room look bigger too.
