Beautiful view Jane, gosh you're on the side of a mountain no? Yes if left natural the cedar will weather to grey but to me that looks weathered & dry & possibly not in keeping with your house style. I still like the red door & think the cedar weatherboards look to be in good condition. I would start by painting the gutter & fascia in the graphite, then the pergola as well & lose the cinder if that is the light colour. Funny thing, I live in a pole home too but without your amazing views!

Hi all, apologies for the late reply I couldnt reply on my phone for some reason. @bigreader we have locked in Surfmist but I could always call and see about changing them (we are waiting at least 12 weeks for the windows). Are you thinking darker? @User we are keeping the tiles. We are doing some pretty big renos inside so trying to keep what we can, where we can. I can see the appeal of the dark contrast, I think I played it safe with surfmist because it is similar to what is already here.
