@mlk01, You are right about the message button, I have it on my profile but no one else seems to so that's odd! If you click on my profile for example, you will see on the top line right beside the profile picture: Your house, Ideasbook, Bookmarks, Activities, Messages. In fact I remember that when anyone typed a reply like I'm doing now, you used to be able to click a "private" button, which meant only the person you were typing to saw your comment. Perhaps Houzz can answer these anomalies?? I'm not on Facebook or Twitter, never got into it and have no reason to do so anytime soon ha-ha As for talking privately to someone, you could post your email address here as could oklouise and delete it whilst you are still able to edit, as I've done once in the past. Just not sure how long the edit feature lasts.

the low window restricts using the end wall for a shower or vanity and the room is not really wide enough to have shower and vanity on opposing walls so, unless you plan to use a double shower and double vanity the space under the window is best used by a narrow bath....surprising how often you miss a bath once it's gone

Hello Christine Can you quickly photograph all the finishes, eg floor/wall tiels and the colour of the white stone vanity top. Without seeing the actual shades of colour it is a little bit of a shot in the dark. However, reading that you have a pearl white stone vanity top, I would be inclined to NOT have a white vanity, unless you are confident that the two whites work well together. The clue to the choice of the woodgrain is finding a woodgrain with a touch of the colour of the mud tiles, and/or the creamy eggshell tile on the other walls. In this way, you will create a link between the different finishes and textures. The white benchtop will tie in with the white of the WC, handbasin etc. I hope this helps. Take a big breath! Hi kristymacd, after changing my mind many times we went for a built in 1700 bath! Mostly as builder and tiler thought it would be easier to slope the floor properly and I liked the idea of the slightly larger built in compared to the 1590 back to wall. I’m sure a back to wall would’ve been possible and been fine, it all just got a bit hard and I knew both would look good. And I don’t think a back to wall would be any harder to clean than a built in - with a built in you have the hob and tiled face of the bath and back to wall there is the floor either side of the bath - same same! Here’s a pic of ours, not totally finished yet but really happy with it.
