Have you ever used your oven as storage?
Comments (25)My pizza baking stones. I have individual size and one large. I'm afraid they'll break if I put them anywhere else. Most times I leave them in when I'm cooking as they retain the heat, but its not hard to take them out if I need the space. Also, it encourages me to use them more often, they're pretty wonderful things for heating up sandwiches vs frying sandwiches to melt the cheese!. I also use them for bread....See MoreHas anyone put oven in pantry ?
Comments (16)"Yes , it is a walking in pantry with have two opening windows , and a full size sink . I don't know if the ventilation in my current kitchen poor done or what . ( no exhaust fan in kitchen ) The smell travels to the bedrooms when I had the oven on for roasting ." Surely there is a rangehood over your hotplates? If you have a rangehood I don't think there is anything poorly done with your kitchen ventilation. I do not believe adding an exhaust fan would be sufficient to avoid cooking smells. So your pantry is a butlers pantry with its own windows? I have seen some large butlers pantries in display homes that are almost like a second kitchen. If your pantry is like that and it has windows and sufficient space to install an oven and sufficient nearby benchspace to make it workable I do not see why you could not have it done. If your butlers pantry is not suitable to use as a second kitchen which can be both closed off and adequately ventilated, then maybe the Webber on the patio type idea might be worth looking into?...See MoreTerrace Transformation

Comments (12)I agree with Liz -- the footstools don't gel with me -- Liz would have gone striped , I would be more likely to go with the cushion 'dot' fabric , so it has that double reference , and wouldn all tie in together better ! The other thing ( and it seems all 'stylists' do this ) is the first picture has all the furniture pushed together , and it is darker -- then , surprise surprise , the after pic is a wider shot , with the furniture spread out more , on a brighter day -- see how the second pic not only shows the glass door , top of the stairs etc not visible in the first pic ( so taken probably 1.5-2 metres further back ) , but one of the stools is spread across in front of the glass door !...See MoreLucille Cummings
