Comments (20)You have a very nice size foyer but to me there are just too many things and too many styles going on. The cabinets look very contemporary, the fixtures and furnishings are more traditional and the stained glass in the doors adds another element. My thought is that you may want to try to simplify a little. If a more traditional look is what you are going after I suggest that you embellish the cabinets to give them a more transitional look and possibly consider replacing the brightly colored stained glass in the door and sidelights with simple clear beveled glass panels to give it a more classic updated look....See MoreShould I change our interior colour scheme?

Comments (14)Could you try taping up some large pieces of coloured paper (the colour you like) in an area that you see from different angles and areas that look into the kitchen area. Live with it for few days or week; then go out of your comfort zone and tape up, say black and do the same. Check it out, live with it and see if that might give you some inspiration on the colour. I’m not keen on the stripe but I’m also not keen on the fridge. Bigger and more modern....See Moremarleong
