Julie, there is no place to put a console there. there are stairs

I thought it may fit , it looks like a little alcove on photos before you access the stairs but it might be deceiving

you mean just before going down the stairs on the left. Yes, there is a place, I thought you meant coming up on my right :) Isnt it a better idea to put that mirror so I can see when I come up the stairs? Just a thought !

I have marked the mirror on the floorplan it should look lovely there, re the shutters, if you place the TV on a lowish sideboard or similar it should look ok in front of them, photos please

I haven't seen where you currently have your TV, is there a TV point in the room and how wide is the room from the stairs to the other wall

The corner between the two windows whee you have sketched in the mirror is really the only location for a tv. Siriuskey has a console table along the long wall to that corner. The tv should be on that down near the corner. Say. 40 inch tv
The display photo looks great because it has no tv and limited furniture.
The Alternative is to change the stair bannister to a solid half wall and place the tv there.

I did this layout last night working with the width of 4m from stair railing to opposite wall and not knowing where the TV jacks are

Thanks Julie, It's always difficult without actual measurements and not knowing where the TV jacks are, I do wish real estate agents would include TV's when staging properties for sale, they're part of today's lifestyle

Yes pink and grey are classic, but for me that trendy fluffy pink cushions should be in the bedroom

Pink for me too, I love the pink fluffy cushion but then I am a bit of a cushionholic, adds a nice texture

Some pretty pink and soft grey linen ones from Adairs , you could always mix one of the floral ones into the couch cushions as chairs don’t always need to be identically matched. You are getting there.
