The grey on the western wall looks dark and purplish on my monitor. It may come over as too imposing and monolithic on the southern face. If you're sticking with the grey palette then a warmer tone would suit the sandstone better. Does Dulux have a colour palette recommendation that includes your Berkshire White plus a grey? Check online or in store pamphlets. But, for such a big, expensive, and impactful paint job I would actually be tempted to get a colour consultant. You're not just repainting a loungeroom wall if it doesn't work!

I would personally go for a lighter roof colour such as Shale Grey. Surfmist is quite white and could be glarie in the sun. Ironstone would attract further heat and could need further insulation to avoid excessive heat buildup. Even being surrounded by trees the roof may cop the heat. Shale Grey roof and facia's with the Ironstone gutters looks quite good together. Downpipes in Ironstone as well. Some people don't like to 'highlight' the downpipes but they are a feature of the house as well, in particular if they're round pipes with the half round gutters. I'd do the eaves in Shale as well. The Sierra Night and Arctic Cotton (or Ornamental Pearl) also look good.

Hi All, Piggybacking on this post for boundary fence colour feedback please. We have Colourbond Gully on the roof and a section of the house is painted to match. The rest of the house exterior is Dulux natural white (50%). Aggregate at front and back is Holcim acacia. Gully is not available as a fence colour so isn't an option. The garden will be started from scratch, so there isn't any current plantings to consider. I personally think Dune is a better tonal match but am worried its too light and wont make the plantings pop like Woodland grey would. Thank you so much, Julie. I thought you would be interested in the end result, given how much encouragement and advice you so generously gave me. :-) I do love it. It has made such a difference and I think (fingers crossed) the landscaping will give it the finishing touch. We are reroofing the pergola, so will post photos when that is completed. The gazebo looks great after its facelift, too.
