That artwork is fabulous. I think it really suits the room actually - just a few tiny accents of colour around the room and it will be very very nice. I love the cushion suggestions in the above by asquithoatley. Some low, small cement candle bowls with a touch of painted colour could do the trick to tie the artwork to the coffee table.. and a dash of colour or white on the table would do nicely. The table and the artwork really hit it off in this room nicely.

Dark wall looks great, as does the square set ceiling. Great starting point. Whatever lounge you get, make sure it's leather! So much easier to look after when you have children of any age group! My 20 year old drops more crap than the 15 year old does.... Go for a modern classic design so it suits the existing room and won't fall out of fashion (fad). A quality piece should last for decades and always look great. I like julie herberts chosen pictures, I'm no interior designer but I think they're pretty good and on point!

Another option for a coastal look would be flat woven jute. IKEA has budget friendly option called Lohals. Or a round, braided seagrass 'hersom'.

Hi Carlos, love your room, love how you have layered your rugs, I think you could go with a kilm or a textured cushion and pair it with a beautiful throw, all depends on size of cushions that you buy as to how many you need, try buying different sizes like square and then add an oblong for interest, could look gorgeous.
