Have to agree with Julie, again, it's stunning, Just the one question, why was the height of the splash back on the left reduced instead of matching the others? that jumped out at me

I reduced height as I thought it would look funny as high as the others. I think that section needs something at eye height. Just not sure yet what it is. May put some shelves or picture just to balance that side. Hubby wanted another overhead but I wasn’t keen.

A framed art work would look lovely, like you, I wouldn't have an overhead cabinet there, but that's just my opinion. Really love the stone, very dramatic and works beautifully with your kitchen.

I'm still at the dreaming stage for my kitchen reno and like many parts of your new kitchen, Jodes.
One of my bug bears with my 35 yr old kitchen is the approx. foot gap between top of upper cabinets and ceiling. So I like to look at how people are doing kitchen cabinets for ideas. Wondering if there was a reason you didn't do cabinets to the ceiling or install a bulkhead?

It is blackbutt, we love it although after living in the house for 8 months it no longer looks quite as perfect. We have found the finish we used scratches extremely easily.
We purchased through our local hardware supplier.
We went with a feature grade, it’s actually the cheaper of the grades. The more expensive doesn’t have as much feature.
