Minimum length required for a walk in shower space and seat/ledge

I have a bathroom we are in the process of designing
Q1
Do you think that 2590 long wall above, which at one end we have put a 1000 x 1000 enclosed shower space(2 sided glass) could actually lose one side of glass and be open? like the above RH image?
Assume the 562mm window positioned above cant move. That window, 562w*1635 high, starting 400 from the FFL, will have to start immediately after the 1000 as we want it there for light transmission down to the vanity at the opposite end, so
1 the window would have to handle a bit of spray but that 2590 wall might go like this
750 bath
130 ledge down one side of bath
148 open space
562 window
1000 shower glass
=
2590
So from the 1000mm mark, outside of the window you have clear floor space of say 562+148= 710 prior to the bath, what distance would the spray keep going?
Q2 what length do you need to add a seat or ledge into a shower
example of a open shower with ledge on RH side,
Kate
