all of these designs require expensive alterations so i'm wondering if moving the entry door would be useful to consider..can you post a plan of the adjoining rooms including dimensions and locations of any other windows and what are the walls and floors made out of?

I would use option 1 but have 2 vanities and a mirrored cabinet above .

The only issue that I have with option 1 is that people sitting on the toilet may be able to see there reflection in the mirror

Thanks everyone for your comments. @oklouise here is the floor plan. I dont think I can move the door unless I change the wardrobe Layout. We can access the plumbing from under the house which amazingly is standing room access yay! Just want the best layout to give the illusion of more space and create a classy bathroom. I was hoping for a bigger vanity and bigger shower so I was leaning toward no 3 but not sure if it will feel crammed.

Forgot to add floors are joist and walls are gyproc. Ceilings are 2700 high.

No. 2. My pick! It'll feel more generous by significant margin. Can use a double sink if you sacrifice bench top space. I'd run a full length shelf behind vanity, toilet and into shower.

No.3. Also not too bad as the vanity is quite generous. I'd rather have more floor space available and this version only allows about 900mm between toilet and vanity. It may feel too small once completed. Using glass shower screens would open it up but still.....

No1. Almost the same as you have now. May as well leave as is and just renovate the existing layout.

Based on layout in full floor plan I can’t see why door can’t be moved. I’d be tempted to put a second door at start of Alcove to close off the wir from bedroom to create a second noise control.

This leaves toilet in place but rotates shower. Shower could be walk-in from basin side or enclosed 900x1200. Windows stay. Let’s light into wir. When door is open.

thats an interesting idea Kate. Only problem I see is the robe getting steamy. Has anyone had experience with this being a potential problem?

Thanks for your comment @mbdesign. I like your idea of a shelf Wall. I would like the vanity height to be around 94 cm so what would be a good height and depth for a wall. I am also keen on tap fixtures being on the wall Instead of the vanity.

Use a good extraction fan. Our robe is off our ensuite and has no door.

When we renovate our ensuite I will add a cavity slider, more for privacy than steam.

Could have a cavity slider between robe and ensuite if going with Kates plan.

along under the window for towels for the vanity and opposite the toilet for the shower (extra reinforcing in the wall around the cavity slider) will make the wall wide and strong enough for a double height towel rail..and a half wall beside the toilet would make a better place for a toilet roll holder...nb the new wiw is based on assumed dimensions as measurements on the plans are not clear or always accurate so you should mark out the new walls to see if you would feel comfortable with the changes making sure that the small hall inside the bedroom entry doors is at least 90cm deep

Far out @oklouise that looks brilliant. A very clever idea. I wonder how tight it would make the entrance Into the bedroom. I will be busy now seeing if I can make it work.

Mum yes would put cavity slider on en-suite entry in the WIR,
WITH OKLOUISE plan you could cut some of the extra WIR space to keep a bigger entry as shown
