Exterior paint colour
Comments (5)Hi Kerri, you've possibly been advised to paint the rendered sides a darker colour as darker colours generally advance towards the eye. I'm not sure if this is the best strategy for your home if you want to make it look larger based on the pics you have shared. I would paint all your exterior walls the same colour, with lighter eaves and a darker fascia and verandah rails to frame the house. Then paint the car port etc. in the same colour scheme following the same pattern. Good luck :)...See Moreexterior wall colour - advice wanted
Comments (2)Thanks for your response annb, and comments on the house. Your correct, it's Spanish/Mediterranean style, and really appreciate your thoughts....See MoreCan you review my floorplan?
Comments (1)my suggestion includes building the extension with concrete slab on ground (a few steps down from original living) to allow optional 2nd storey roof to be as low as possible and hopefully continue the shape of the original roof?? with less overshadowing of neighbours and have the deck/alfresco as close to ground level as possible...the combined laundry pantry is under the stairs and the total area of the extension would be about 94sq m...See Moretimber stains with greys???
