Coming back to the question, yes, you can add a wallpaper behind the television, go for a textured wallpaper as it will create a compliment to your television. As you have decorated with wooden elements, you can go with a bookshelf on the wall. And, there is one more thing which will be a simple addition but will look perfect and that is an antique wall clock. An antique wall clock will make your wall look great without any fuss.

Hi, You can do so much with your house! It reminds me of my first home in western Sydney. I'm assuming that is where you are located? I love the idea of you putting a silver/grey colorbond roof on the house as someone else suggested, that would freshen it up greatly. But if it were my house I'd look at moving the front door to face the street. Either where the thin sidelight is on the front of the lounge-room, or if possible where your number 9 is - but I'm assuming that is a bedroom? Also, if it were me I'd look at replacing the windows with some timber casements in three vertical casement windows in each window. Chippendale Restorations would be my first choice for timber windows - new or salvaged. Fedwood in Sydney have amazing period timber fretwork and awnings that would look amazing on your home. I've recently used them for a pergola and can highly recommend them. I'd also put a timber deck out the front. I hope that helps

Both are great, the way the one on the right is designed (lots of lines) brings a lot of energy to the room! Depending on which room, that's the one that I would lean towards. Looking forward to hearing which one you choose!
