Oh excellent, thank you, it looks lovely! I have been to many of the suppliers but QQ is too far away for me with a screaming baby in the car and they won't mail me samples! Once I choose a stone mason I will view them in person because I hear even with Quartz each slab can be a little different. I was thinking maybe Lexicon quarter...warmed up a bit...but I'm not sure. Thanks for the warning, I do have time on my side so I might go get some sample pots and see what actually looks ok with our lighting.

The Colour palette that I have attached is only a ruff guide line... Are you painting the cupboards in a Dulux colour? What do the cupboards look like, for example the grain? I personally would look at a shade of green colour or blue. My examples might not be perfect as my monitor does not display colours well. What are you thinking for flooring and backsplash?

Those tiles are beautiful so I see why you favour them. They appear to be very similar colour to your brick pattern tiles. I think the ideal situation is to have the same flooring in both areas since they are connected and for cohesion. Maybe others will provide a different solution so you can retain the brick tiles as well as having new tiles. Have you seen Smartstone Athena? It would go well with a grey laminate (I'll have a look what's on offer) and Hogs Bristle wall colour. There's also another stone that is similar to Athena but the veining is diff colour. I'll have a look.
