Splashback - I need help PLEASE!!!
Comments (24)We had a white kitchen (I know it's not white in the photo- that's another polytec story that ended up in a warranty claim replacement kitchen- hence the change in colour now) and I decided to go with mirror tiles though grout always an issue however so unnoticeable with the mirrored tiles easy to clean too. Each tile is a different mirror effect so doesn't show any grease spots at all. I love my choice- a little pricier but worth it I say!...See MoreMirror or white glass splash back???
Comments (4)I love the mirror splash back, especially if you have a view you can see in the reflection. My aunt has one in her home in Balmoral. GORGEOUS view!! I am considering the same question. My major concern is how quickly the mirror finish could damage in the context of a coastal location. It is VERY expensive to replace, but mirrors do get damaged - but maybe not when suck against a wall. Advice / experience / recommendation much appreciated....See MoreUsing a Window as a Kitchen Splashback.
Comments (0)Have you considered using a window as your kitchen splashback? Splashback windows can be placed behind your benchtop and come in two forms: fixed or operable. Both showcase your view and invite natural light into your kitchen. Operable splashback windows provide for extra ventilation and airflow. Perfect for dimly lit kitchens as well as a practical, stylish, and modern kitchen feature. Which style do you prefer? - A Fixed or Awning window splashback. Comments (3)Is it the pattern or the size that has driven your current choice? If it’s the pattern there are a lot of calacatta tiles in marble and marble-look available and in varying sizes that would fit the 650 gap better. Google them. If it’s the large format you’re after for minimal grout lines then continuing the bench top material is a good idea....See Moresiriuskey
