The dust and work boots coming inside the farmhouse used to drive my mum nuts! If you know the brand and name of the brick, do a google image search to look at some of the new builds. That might give an idea of some possible colour schemes that could work. Many new builds have painted rendered portions work well with the brick colour. You could use one of those colours for the verandah or posts, for instance. The main difference in the newer builds is they tend to have a contrasting mortar ie. darker bricks with light mortar.

I'm trying to work out what angle pic 2 is ? It doesn't seem to tie in with the roofline and fencing in pic 1 ? Anyway , I quite like the front ( I assume ) in pic 1 . I'm not a fan of the stone , but I think the brick adds to the fun factor , and the 2 together look better than pic 2 , which is mainly stone . The windows are okay IMO -- if they had still been grey aluminium I'd say get rid of them , but the powdercoating , especially with your coastal location , is as good as it gets in that era . If you convert the garage to 2 bedrooms , do large white windows the same , probably with charcoal timber in-fill , same as the existing garage door . Waterblast the roof , paint that veranda or whatever it is in Pic 2 the same brown tone as your tiles , and maybe its just me , but I'd try and remove that white pole thats right in the middle of the lounge window view . It's not too bad , but it certainly grates me . If you can't remove , maybe a sandy beige to match the stone ? Not white anyway . And if Pic 2 is the rear , I hate rendering , but I'd try and paint ( or render or even use composite over-panels if all else fails ) those brick infills , in a charcoal , to match the front .

May I suggest that you could quite quickly and affordably: 1 - paint the roller door and the white beam above it in Terrain - https://colorbond.com/colour/terrain - which will stop them drawing your eye. You may still want to put in a wooden roller door but you will get the effect quickly. 2 - replace the eyesore round light fitting at the same time with a modern one 3- left hand side - the next door dirty cream fence is also eye catching either put a fence and gate there to block it from view or just paint it a dark colour so it recedes and separates from the house. 4 - yes the roof either needs a good clean or a repaint 5 - yes the down pipe - can it be replaced by a chain style into the garden bed? Paint it dark anyway to stop it popping. It may be possible to drain it to the side gutters Love the railings - 5- the house isn’t sitting in its own space visually planting darker evergreens to left and right will help to settle it.
