Comments (6)Hi, I can see that there are a lot of rectangular / square shapes in the house already with the doorways, windows, kitchen island etc and the previous owners have obviously tried to break up the sharp lines by adding a round table - not a bad idea but the table and rug are just too small for the space! Its hard to tell from the photos how big the area really is but if you have the space a square table may work best or an oval table, there are already rectangular shapes in the kitchen and the sofa configuration, although maybe you are placing your sofas differently? Id also suggest chairs with a rounded shape to help soften and define the area....See MoreDining chairs to go with this dining table
Comments (3)Did you want to stick to white? These options also come in neutral. What style are you intending to achieve? These are bentwood, crossback, wishbone and malawi respectively if you need to search for suppliers. Depending on the room, I like the look of Malawi at the ends of the table with the replica wishbone on the sides....See MoreWhich shape dining table(round or rectangle) should I choose
Comments (7)Having just gone through this decision myself, the round table takes up more space in order for chairs to be pulled out. It also looks weird on a rectangular rug IMO and a round rug that works with enough room to pull the chairs out can be hard to find and $$$. We went with a rectangular that works well as a 6 seater with a chair at each end & 2 in the middle on sides. Also work as an 8 seater with an extra chair along each side & we had lots more rug choices....See MoreMB Design & Drafting
