We are doing a major facelift on a very outdated 1970s 5-bedroom home. The house so far has given us endless surprises (not good ones) and has already cost us financially... anyway.
We have now chosen the wall colour ‘white on white’ and the floor has now been half laid. We did want the Hamptons look however I feel the floor is way too grey/silver but there is nothing I can do about it now.
i would like a pivot door for the entrance however after the last few bad decisions I have made (flooding, wall colour) I dont trust my judgment.
could I please ask my trusted fellow houzz friends for some suggestions on what might look good here. I was going along the lines of a large timber feature door and knocking out the timber above and the window next to the door so we can have quite a large one, but then again I am doubting my decision making after the last few bloopers I have made.
