Just looking at them on their own (not in the context of the bath/basin) I really like the one with the black on it - 2nd... but I think you're right to try and match the bath and basin taps. That bath and matching basin are absolutely divine! Amazing shapes! And judging by the pic and your other queries, you also have a fabulous sense of styling and shouldn't need anyone else's opinions...? (imho)

@brookegatt, yes this is still classified as a renovation as the floor and some structural walls were restored. If the entire house was demolished then that would be a knock down rebuild.

I am just wondering whether it is a good thing or not to go with solid colours like the dark blue (prussian blue), grey floors and white on other walls all in tiles. I see that a lot of designers seem to do a pattern on one wall, but I haven't found one suitable and whatever I do, I just don't want it to look out of date in 5 years time. I am not sure how about much of the prussian blue tile is appropriate in order for it to be noticeable but not too overpowering.
