Hi Stef, Privacy screens would look terrific , Out Deco, Chippey’s have a wonderful range that would suit your area, also check ‘outdoor decorative screens’ on Ebay as there are a lot of companies that sell as well.
Would you consider extending the foot print of the patio? It would feel even tinier with screening around it with the size it is at the moment. Perhaps if you extended it by at least half a metre each side, it would feel less cramped and worthy of an eye catching screen? This extension doesnt necessarily have to be done with outdoor tiles - it could be decking or if you dont want to mess around with relevelling landscape, just with large potted plants would do. Then a decorative louvred screen could span the whole width, including plants, to create the illusion of space.
Yes def open to that. Would consider maybe adding those white pebbles to sides of tiles and putting pot plants on them. Do you mean screen across front of tiles or on esch side?
The white pebble idea sounds great! the screening location would depend on what your purpose is - privacy, shade, aesthetics or even a combination of these elements.
