Thank you everyone for the advice and input. Well, I guess the spice jars must go! I'll have to go out and look for a vase to go there. I really wanted a console on the wall paper wall, but after renovating our kitchen, funds have been redirected, and thus limited. I'm stuck with the round table for now. But painting it is definitely an option. I'm thinking a duck egg color (same as the wall paper). I actually really like the cow hide, maybe the layered look isn't working. I'll try it without the rug underneath.

could you get fabric with the wallpaper pattern ? sometimes the wallpaper company has the match ? if so do one cushion to go with one of the grey ones, otherwise, I would try and match one grey with one of the other colour in the wallpaper. 2 cushions is enough for the size of the bench. Try another arrangement for the rug, put it right to the door (it is not big enough for central use in that space) , move the table to the back near the wallpapered wall, add an armchair (like a bergere) beside it. Nothing on the left of the entrance wall, what is there is the wrong scale and too high . I would also try a long circular tablecloth in an off-white on the table, it would give substance to the arrangement. I love your wallpaper, but I think the other walls would benefit with a darker tone imitating the wallpaper background colour. It is almost there keep going.

I am of the opinion that even a minimalist home needs warmth. And the blue and white ginger jars will give you just that. I have some in my home and just love them. If you pick up the blue in curtains or cushions this would help incorporate them into the design. Or else pick the white and go with this. When placing them put them off centre on the table. You can even take the lid off, put it at the side and use the jar for flowers or a dried arrangement if the mood allows. Also potpourri is good in these pots. Alison

They are beautiful flowers fabulouspink but I see three tall items competing with the mirror & my eye can't rest on any one thing as the yellow distracts my eye. For me it needs a low item or bowl, it could be mirror tone or silver to create a connection to the mirror. I would keep to the silvers & blues so the the whole look reads as one complementary picture. Light & shade without filling the whole space & less is more...try the blue tall vase in the middle with the 3 smaller bottles to the left or right. A low square mirrored decorative box echoing the mirror style would also finish it off nicely :)
