Ensuite wir help please!
Comments (6)my suggestion contains the toilet and shower in a separate ventilated small bathroom with an open vanity and wiw designed to fit around the windows and original sliding doors cutting through the brick wall is a better entry than off the kitchen and allows more flexibility for the ens and wiw but precise measurements of the distance between the outside edges of the architraves around the sliding doors into the corners on both sides and the width and height off the floor to the outside edges of the architraves) of the windows may suggest other options and the bedroom is very generous and could have additional storage to suit the style of the house...See MoreHelp with Master Bedroom WIR and Ensuite Layout
Comments (12)with north on the bathroom side i suggest that a wide highlight window for the ensuite would give the best light and ventilation without losing privacy and, depending on views, you could have similar highlight windows in the bedroom or swap tall narrow windows from south to north, consider reducing the western windows and/or add sunscreens to the outside and, if this bedroom might be used by aged or disabled it could be worthwhile to add grab rails and walk in showers etc during construction and i've added some ideas for the laundry toilet and some extra storage in the games room...See MoreSmall WIR and en-suite design
Comments (7)using the available space the storage walls in the wiw could be about 30cms wider than the existing biw but the ens is smaller without enough space for a vanity...moving the wall would create more wiw but the ens is still not long enough for more than a 1200 wide vanity so for all the trouble and expense of an extension (that will need council approval and fees) there isnt any real improvement on what you already have and the linen storage has also been lost......See MoreEnsuite and WIR design
Comments (9)Sorry for the late response, As requested I have drawn a different access showing a door between the WIR and Ensuite. I have also added more dimensions showing the spaces, you will see that the original WIR only has 700 walking space which is very narrow it also has two corners which can actually reduce good robe space Pocket sliding doors need a deeper wall space by using hinged or Barn doors this can be overcome, you would need to speak to your builder . My walls are all 100. The second floorplan is the same as you posted except I have made both robes equal, I have added an extra robe in the bedroom for you. I have moved the shower in the third plan without knowing anything about the style of the window, ie: hip height of tall and width, . This plan would also suit anyone who likes to watch TV in bed, it could be recessed into the bathroom wall...See Moreoklouise
