Which kitchen stools would you like to own?
Comments (3)Surprisingly very few bar stools from the mid-century were designed for the home. They were more likely to have been designed for cafes, pubs etc etc. The mid-century example shown is by Erik Buch and originates from Denmark....See MoreKitchen Stools???
Comments (4)Then I would stay away from metal legs/support which may look too modern, but you can stick to a contemporary look with timber legs to add some warmth to the kitchen and tie in with the dining set, I would suggest something along those lines:...See MoreSplash back for kitchen , what colour tiles and size
Comments (4)Hi Sue, I think it would look amazing if you used some tiles with a bit of texture. The wood look tiles that are popular at the moment would be an example. If you chose a colour that toned in with your floor you would get a really nice cohesive look but with a bit of interest. I've attached a photo of a recent design of mine as an example. Just a suggestion!...See MoreNeed help choosing colour for dining chair and bar stool!
Comments (15)My Home Stylist - I really appreciate your feedback. The Noguchi coffee is really nice. I think I'm getting closer to finalising the colours. I've done my research and found these. Do you think they match? Coffee table I did my research and found something similar to the noguchi coffee table but in white (thought it'll suit the white ikea table). It's aFreedom's Stockholm table . Dining Chairs I really love the chairs with timber legs but I've decided that since my apartment will be occasionally rented out I'll stick with a more conservative look. Dark Grey frabic will match my sofa. The steel........ It's similar to one of the photos on houzz. Bar Stool: Now that I have chosen a dark grey/steel leg dining chairs and an oak based coffee table, would a standard white barstool with steel leg still work well with everything else or is it starting to clash? I found some possible but more expensive options if it's starting to clash:...See MoreStefan Daniels
