Hi Erin Both look like they will work. I think your challenge will be to bring some depth to the front of the house . With the colour being uniform its quite flat, so I would suggest adding some awnings to the front windows. These could also be a nice feature on the front of the house adding your personality. http://www.icietla.com.au in Brisbane sell some beautiful stripes. The other option was to have a base and top scheme that helped the building look a little lighter. A great transformation which ever way you go.

I say go for it as your door is the window to your home. My advice would be to consider the colour of the flecks in your brick to make sure your chosen colour works with it and not to forget about the colour of your roof and window frames. For example I would have loved a red door but it would have looked ghastly with the green roof on my 25 year-old house. Instead I did black with dark grey window frames (which truly just look black) which works to pick up the black in the brick. I added my big pot plants with green foliage and still got a touch of red in the form of an old chair I picked up from an op shop years ago. The entrance is welcoming, attractive and reflects what is waiting inside. Have fun and if your chosen colour isn't quite right do what I did and find a way of incorporating it into the scheme somehow.

I probably wouldn't paint the garage door as it looks like it is already a colorbond type finish, so the colour you see is baked on during the manufacturing process. If you paint it then it is likely to flake with the movement and flexing of the panels when the door is opened and closed. If you must change the colour of the garage door I would look at getting a new garage door. Frankly I don't see why you would bother going from neutral white to neutral dune, I can't see what you are trying to achieve. I would give it a good clean, and spend some money on landscaping.
