why is linear pendant lighting that hides the cord so rare?

99% of the linear pendant lights we see online either have a cord that just falls down the supporting cable or a box above that's not flush with the ceiling. The below picture shows exactly what we're looking for but unsurprisingly we died at the $3k+ price tag (and we need two). Surely symmetry here wouldn't be that bespoke would it?

Would be amazing if anyone could point us to any lighting retailers that sell something close to this. The best we've been able to find is Beacon's LEDlux Contempo LED 2.2 Metre Up/Down Dimmable Pendant, it has a black box on the ceiling but at least it's attempting some symmetry.
