Because the style is quite modern eclectic, my thought was that a muted cow hide rug could work If you feel a bit more daring - these muted colours would echo the traditional carpet or failing that go for a high sheen textural rug that doesn't compete with the monochrome elegance

I selected Neither - Reason. I think that particular room looks great because a huge amount of expense has gone into making that room picture perfect. It is unrealistic to think that the average home buyer / owner will have that kind of money to invest in a room. Generally I would never put wall paper on a ceiling. The only thing that has made this room work is that they have been able to invest a lot of money into making sure this room is "show room" quality by matching the paper and the carpet and all the furnishings. It is not a homely room. It is a room for a palace or for the rich and famous. You could not relax in this room and I do not think the average family would ever allow their family to use this room - most of us do not have "special occasion" rooms.

Hello! I have a wall on my livingroom on which I want to install a hanging bookshelf. But first I want to have a catchy steampunk scene (what's the point of adulthood if you still need to debate with mum and dad about this black wall in your room or can't actually choose the things you really like for your home?) But all steampunk themed wallpapers are really boring. Some rusty letters, or some pastel mongolfieres. I would like something like : I can compromise for a jungle, with strong colors and purple undertones (my walls have a pink undertone What do you do when you don't find your dream wall paper? Do you have it printed or is there a shop I missed out there?
