25-year-old Kitchen Given Fresh & Contemporary Transformation

Retaining the same footprint as the existing layout, we recently re-designed a client's kitchen in Freshwater. This kitchen hadn’t been touched or updated for 25 years and was looking dated, a few appliances recently had died and our clients decided there was no better time for a complete update of the space.

We transformed the space by refreshing the colour palette with new crisp white and grey cabinetry, organic and earthy white ceramic tiles and a soft grey stone benchtop with waterfall edging. The brief from the client was to emphasis on functionality, we maximised the corner cupboards by incorporating smart storage solutions. As empty-nesters with lots of grandchildren, they needed lots of space for snacks and supplies, so we also created a butlers pantry with pocket doors to allow the concealing of everyday items or to leave as an open nook for styling opportunities.
