Comments (51)Finished product! Glad I switched the rug the other direction, and the round table kind of plays off the circle window. Truly thankful for all your help! This was fun and I am so happy with the end result. :)...See MoreCreative ideas needed for a luxury bedroom makeover
Comments (77)Hi Houzzers You have all been so kind with your design advice, and helped us come up with this design. I think we are nearly there, and are pretty happy with the result...we still ended up with the door into bedroom from hall....but think it will be ok.....may swing the door the other way...will put doors on bathroom and sitting(not shown) I like the 2 dressing areas we have created either side of our wardrobes, and the seperate toilet. Very happy for any other input on this design before we send it off to the builder!...See MoreAdvice needed on bathroom window frame replacement job
Comments (2)i have to say that paying cash for a job so that the worker can avoid including payment for their tax and GST is illegal and party to fraud ..the extra payment is not for your invoice it's a savings for you so that they don't have to include the payment or GST in their income for tax and i think that expecting a quality job for work for which you haven't received an invoice or receipt is unlikely and they've already produced bad workmanship twice... i wonder if they repaired the dampproofing and flashing around the window and if you will have a similar problem in future?..i would patch up the grout and clean off the tiles and keep an eye on the wall so that if/when the leak returns you're ready to employ a professional to do a quality job...See MoreNeed ideas for a tiny ensuite reno
Comments (41)Here are some tips for renovating a bathroom Plan ahead: Consider the layout and design of your bathroom, as well as your budget and timeline. Make a list of what you want to change or update, and prioritize your needs and wants. Hire a professional: If you're not comfortable or experienced with plumbing or electrical work, it's best to hire a licensed contractor or plumber to handle these tasks. Choose durable materials: When selecting materials for your bathroom, look for durable options that can withstand moisture and heat. This includes tiles, countertops, and fixtures. Save water: Consider installing low-flow toilets, faucets, and showerheads to help save water and reduce your utility bills. Add storage: Consider installing additional storage solutions, such as shelves, cabinets, or a medicine cabinet, to help declutter and organize your bathroom. Don't skimp on lighting: Proper lighting is essential in a bathroom, so consider installing multiple light sources, including overhead lighting, sconces, and a vanity light. Update the fixtures: Replacing old or outdated fixtures can give your bathroom a fresh, modern look. This includes the faucet, showerhead, and toilet handle. Invest in a good exhaust fan: A good exhaust fan is essential for removing moisture and odors from the bathroom. Make sure to choose one that is powerful enough for the size of your bathroom. Add a pop of color: Consider adding a pop of color with paint, towels, or accessories to give your bathroom a personal touch. Don't forget the details: Pay attention to the small details, such as the hardware, grout, and caulking, to ensure a polished, finished look....See MoreHU-530581302
