Comments (30)I was just thinking.... looking at the photos. A 100 to 150mm wide trim piece of timber or compressed fibre cement to each windo surround would add definition and enhance the window more. adding a shadow relief to the flat profile ofthe windows and boards.tbe trim piece should be about 18mm to 25mm deep to give the best result to the windows... just an idea . it's why brick veneer looks 'right' the windows are recessed and break the line of the cladding plane......See MoreExterior house paint colour
Comments (7)Hi, it's a large house with a big street presence, I do worry that too much grey could be a little overbearing. I would consider a Dulux colour consultant, as you can get a large part of the cost back when you buy paint. Comments (1)Hi Lisa, Some great ideas in the link. We have done one house in Brisbane a long time ago. Don't have any photos, but it did make a statement in the street. Very impressive especially if there are gardens around with the green foliage contrast. You're on a winner if you go dark. Wattyl have a lot of good colours as does Resene.
