Updating a tired 90s brick house

Hi everyone!

Been looking for inspiration on how to update our 90s double story brick home. It's got the classic winning colours of sage, mission brown with a touch of cream. Just gorgeous (not).

We're on a tight budget, but really want to paint the deck and eves, as well as gutters and downpipes (will need new downpipes).

We live in a beachside suburb and want to lighten everything up. We're thinking of a super light grey, mid grey and charcoal. At this stage we will probably leave the brick, and the windows frames are oatmeal colour aluminium (ugh - my worst nightmare but the biggest expense to change/update).

The question is where each colour should ideally go, and anyones advice would be greatly appreciated. Here are some points:

- Thinking everything in the green can go white/light grey

- All the mission brown can go to a mid grey (or should that go charcoal?)

- Cream bits go charcoal (or black???), and they will end up being a bit of a feature

- Add white VJ panels to the ceiling above the deck

- New black lights for the deck

Also want to consider what to do with the front door. It's very tired looking, so either sanding it back and refreshing it, or completely painting it a new colour.

Can anyone advise also if it's an easy task to replace the window? It's great having the natural light coming into the hall so I don't want to lose that, but the window is pretty old school (frosted pattern).

Thanks so much everybody!
